Our nursery safeguarding policy and procedures provide a secure environment to ensure the best possible childcare
“Our aim is that every child will leave our nursery with the confidence to manage new surroundings, and with a passion to learn which will stay with them throughout life.”
Safeguarding children underpins all that we do.
Our first concern is for the safety and well-being of your children.
Access to the nursery grounds is via a secure pin code pad and biometric fingerprint system to enter the building. Reception is situated next to the main entrance door. The nursery grounds and car parks are fully covered by CCTV.
On collection of your child, we will release your child only to someone you have authorised by either producing a photograph, or password and this person must be over the age of 18 years.
Identity verification is kept on your child’s file for reference. It is important those contacts are people your child is familiar with and that in the event of any illness or injury, attendance at the nursery at short notice will be possible. Nursery must be kept informed of any changes to contact information or changes in persons who are authorised to collect from the nursery.
Please note nursery cannot legally deny access to a parent or carer with Parental Responsibility or whose name is specified on the registration form unless there is an active Restraining Order on file or a specific schedule of court-ordered visitation rights that prohibits this.
Nursery will give priority to the safety and security of your child in the first instance..
